The HMS staff held a chili cook-off on 11/22. 3 crockpots of chili competed for the traveling sombrero award. Mrs. Gold won best chili, and will keep the traveling sombrero award until our next staff food day. Other staff brought all the fixins! All of the food was amazing.
HMS/HHS Concert Practice - The holiday concert will be held on Monday, November 25th at 7:00pm. Please arrive early as the doors will temporary close for a special tribute at 7:00 promptly, and reopen after the first song to attendees who are not seated by 7:00.

Hugoton Middle School girl's basketball team played Dodge City on Monday, Nov. 4th at HMS.
Mrs. Burrows 7th grade Social Study class had a visitor from Macedonia, Marina Hiohi. Marina is a foreign exchange student living with Don, Renee, Sydney and Faith Beesley for 1 year. Marina shared her experiences of living in the United States from a different perspective.
Due to so many absences from sickness, we are postponing the 2nd Grade Music Program until Thursday, November 21, at 2:45 P.M. Hopefully by then we will have all students healthy!
Central Office is ready for Thanksgiving now that the LEAP students have decorated our tree. The LEAP students grew the pumpkins under the tree in the their garden. Thanks for making our office look fabulous!!
